Quarantine Series; for Joel DeWitt Mills

THIS OFFER HAS EXPIRED

While nearly every gesture feels relatively hollow and insignificant amid these existential challenges, these little pieces were painted in the gentle spirit of hope for our loved ones and defiance of all that seems meaninglessness in the face of our current sorrow and losses. They are a painter's meditation on solitude and isolation.

These pieces are FREE OF CHARGE; ONE PER REQUEST.  If you want additional pieces there will be a modest charge; please contact me as indicated below.  Message me through Facebook with the piece number indicated below and your mailing address.  Since some may go quickly, it may be a good idea to identify two or more that interest you just in case.  I will mail them to you within a couple of weeks.

I ask in return that you consider contributing to the Joel DeWitt Mills Memorial Scholarship Fund at Linfield College, now University) to benefit other art and art therapy students. You may contact Craig Haisch at Linfield to make such a contribution.

Be sure to designate that the donation be directed to Joel's fund.

I plan to continue to post available pieces during the quarantine and likely for some time afterward.  Some pieces may vary in size, as indicated.  This first set are all 6" x 6" on cotton paper.  2020  Subsequent pieces may vary but be no larger than 5" x 7".  I will do my best to mark sold pieces as such as promptly as possible.  Send 2-3 available pieces BY NUMBER in order of your preference.  Note:  The images you are seeing on screen may appear slightly more vivid the the actual pieces.  This is largely the result of seeing them under glass or not. Watercolors are generally best seen under glass.  The pieces will come unframed.  I recommend they be matted (3" minimum width), glassed and framed.
